ESPN2 launched on October 1, 1993, originally formatted as a more informal and youth-oriented channel than ESPN aimed at adults between 18 and 34 years of age, carrying a broad mix of event coverage from conventional sports (such as auto racing, college basketball and NHL hockey) to extreme sports (such as BMX, skateboarding and motocross). The "ESPN BottomLine," a ticker displaying sports news and scores during all programming that is now used by all of ESPN's networks, originated on ESPN2 in 1995. In the late 1990s, ESPN2 was gradually reformatted to serve as a secondary outlet for ESPN's mainstream sports programming.

College Basketball - Georgia Tech at Tennessee

0010 ESP2 Nov 13 09:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Georgia Tech at Tennessee. From Thompson-Boling Arena. Rick Barnes' Tennessee squad was ranked 25th in points allowed during the 2017-18 season (65.7). They look to keep that up against a Georgia Tech team that averaged just 65.7 ppg (329th of 351).
